Kickoff the music festival season with our survival guide!

We've made it through winter (sort of!), and now it's finally upon us...festival season! That time of year from March through October when your weekends are filled with your favorite bands and dancing with friends. It doesn’t get much better! To ensure a fun-filled (and socially conscious) experience, we've put together our festival survival guide with the best products to help you raise awareness while you celebrate!

SURVIVAL TIP 1: Protect Yourself from the Elements

Whether it's the hot sun beating down or cold nights while camping out, it's important to keep yourself covered (literally).

Bella Sun Sunglasses by Fetch Eyewear - Protecting your vulnerable eyes from harsh sun rays has never been so fashionable! Fetch offers prescription and non prescription options, with high quality lenses that include anti-reflective and scratch resistant coatings. Made in Oregon, 100% of their profits are donated to animal welfare!

All Good Sunscreen Spray - Beat the skin cancer risk with this reef-friendly and effective broad spectrum spray. Made with organic Calendula (grown on All Good’s farm) to rebuild damaged skin tissue; organic Green Tea Extract for its antioxidant properties and ability to reverse sun damage; organic Rosehip Oil for vitamins A, C, E and beta carotene; and organic Buriti Oil for its essential fatty acids, additional vitamins and natural sun protection properties. All Good gives 1% of their sales to the "1% for the Planet" project and are active members of organizations like Green America, Save Our Snow and United Plant Savers among others.

Golden Spruce Hoodie by tentree - When the sun goes down, you don't want to be caught in the cold. Stay warm and cozy with tentree hoodies, they're both comfortable and iconic at the same time. Plus, tentree will plant ten trees for every item purchased!

SURVIVAL TIP 2: Stay Hydrated and Keep Snacking

With all of that dancing (and drinking alcoholic beverages) the last thing you want is a weekend ruined by dehydration and lack of sustenance.

Save The Fishies Re-usable Glass Bottle by Sand Cloud - Made from recycled glass, this eco-friendly bottle is perfect for cold or hot beverages and you'll be minimizing single-use plastic while helping to support marine conservation with every sip!  San Cloud proudly donates 10% of its profits to preserve marine life.

This Bar Saves Lives Snack Bar - These treats are all-natural, non-GMO, gluten-free, kosher, Rainforest Alliance-certified, and absolutely delicious! And did we mention they save lives? For every one you buy, a packet of food is given to a child in need.

SURVIVAL TIP 3: Keep your essentials safe and charged.

What's more frustrating than your cell phone running out of battery after taking a thousand photos of your most memorable weekend? How about not being able to fit your phone into your tiny bag to begin with. Luckily, we have solutions to both of these problems!

Huipil and Leather Crossbody Bag by Wells Cooperative - Large enough to fit the important stuff, but small enough and lightweight to keep you mobile. Handmade in a fair trade workshop in Guatemala, each purse is one of a kind and when they sell out, they will not be offered again so get this one while it's still in stock.

Portable Solar Charger by Unite to Light - This outdoor portable 8000 mAh solar charger comes with micro USB and USB C, is made to charge entirely by the sun, is dust proof and water resistant, and has a flashlight.  What does this not come with, am I right? Even better, when you buy a charger Unite to Light will donate one charger to a humanitarian aid organization benefiting global health, education or disaster response and you can choose where it goes!

SURVIVAL TIP 4: Look the part

What's the most important part of a music festival (besides the actual music I mean)? Showing up with some serious style of course! Don't be left with regrets, plan your outfits ahead of time and make sure they're both functional and fashionable!
